Scott was born in San Diego, California and raised in Tucson, Arizona. When he graduated from high school he joined the Coast Guard. At 19 while still in the Coast Guard he became addicted to alcohol.
He went in and out of jail. He went to AA. Nothing worked. His fiancee’ died in 2005. That same year he ended up with a five year prison sentence. He realized He needed God in his life and he could not continue to live his life on his terms. He had made awful choices, hurt family and friends His life changed when he acknowledged the truth that Jesus died for his sins. He was delivered from guilt and the power of sin.
He is so thankful to be in the 24/7 program. The program has shown him that life is not all about Scott. He is very positive about the direction his life is going. He is learning about God and God’s love for him each day at home and at Hayden Lake Friends Church. He feels loved and safe. His self esteem is back. He is surrounded by wonderful people who work with him everyday. He is thankful for all of you.
