Young Couple from Hayden Idaho get their baby back after the courts and Health and Welfare department took her away for 6 months due to drug abuse.

The story begins at the Hayden Lake Friends Church 24/7 recovery program.   Trinity was going through court appointed drug rehabilitation in the women’s house.   And Nick was going through the same process in the men’s house.

The 24/7-recovery program is a Ministry established by the members of the Friends Christian Church in Hayden Idaho.   24/7 works with the Idaho courts and parole system to take into residency newly released convicts with addictive drug or alcohol dependency problems.

Nick and Trinity both recovered and graduated from the 24/7 program.    Got married and had a baby girl named Rozalyn.   The future looked bright. . .Then.  The back-slide happened quickly when Nick and Trinity walked away from their Church support group, their regular Bible studies and their mentors at the 24/7 program.  Without their focus on Jesus Christ and the Church body the lies of Satan crept in and took a foothold again.    METH quickly took over the lives of Nick and Trinity and they were no longer living the lives they had recovered at 24/7.  The back-slide was fast and baby Rozalyn was soon removed from the household for her own safety.   The Idaho child safety, health and welfare came into the home with police escort and just took Rozalyn away in one rushed moment like a Hollywood movie.  As Nick explains in the video: “As soon as they took my baby I dropped to my knees and I knew what I had to do.”   Nick and Trinity came running back to their support group at Hayden Lake Friends Church and the 24/7 mentors.   The Church took them back with open arms, love and support.  Brian Bassett, director of the 24/7 recovery program met with the Judge and came up with a program to get baby Rozalyn returned in 6 months.  The program was strict and had a zero tolerance clause.   On demand and regular UA’s (urine drug tests), weekly parenting classes, Bible studies, and they must follow the rules of the 24/7 mentors without exception.  With the love and support of fellow Christians at Hayden Friends Church and 24/7 the couple made it through without any setbacks.
